The Upper Bout, an authorized Martin dealer
Many thanks to the Upper Bout for donating a guitar for our raffle fundraiser for the THIRD year in a row! This year’s beauty is a Gibson J-29 slope-shouldered acoustic, an iconic guitar often seen in the hands of Bob Dylan, Dave Van Ronk, and many other luminaries. With a hard shell case also provided by the Upper Bout, this prize is valued at right around $2,500.
The guitar will be on display (and raffle tickets available) at upcoming C-U Folk and Roots Festival events and at the Urbana Farmer’s Market this fall. A single ticket is $10, three tickets just $25.
