Black Ridge Road is a Champaign, Illinois-based bluegrass band, with Roger Bowen, on mandolin and harmony vocals, Roy Britton on guitar and lead and harmony vocals, Doug Buchanan on resonator guitar and harmony vocals, Jim Hand on upright bass and harmony vocals, and Mike Kleiss on banjo with lead and harmony vocals. The guys met while attending local bluegrass jams and decided to put a band together.
